RICHARD VEENSTRA

Richard Veenstra has proven himself to be a fierce competitor on the oche and has won a number of titles around Europe, including the Dutch Open in 2019. 'Flyers' picked up his first ranking win in the 2014 Luxembourg Open and in 2016 he was making his mark on the world stage at the Lakeside.

The Dutchman enjoyed a run to the semi-finals in his BDO World Championship debut that year, with a quarter-final following in 2018 and then another semi-final in the first WDF edition in 2022. The BDO World Trophy runner-up made the switch to the PDC in 2023, securing a tour card at Q-School, and qualified for the PDC World Darts Championship in his first year on the tour.
